Description
River Hospital'sRadiology department is seeking a scheduler to work in our outpatient clinic with our team of Radiology Staff.
Job Purpose
Responsibilities of this job include outpatient registration and scheduling for all Radiology patients. Responsible for switchboard operations, petty cash, mail distribution. Responsible for the organization and management of the Admissions office, its records, files and necessary systems.
It is the employee’s responsibility to know the requirements for certification, limited permit and licensure for their individual profession. It is also the responsibility of the employee to notify the employer of the status of any certification or licensure issue or potential issue. The employee will comply with all of the requirements outlined by the New York State Office of professions for the particular profession.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- PC and keyboard skills required
- Accurate clerical skills
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills necessary
- Preferred two years of experience in Patient Registration and/or scheduling
