River Hospital is seeking a per diem Data Analyst for our IT department. 

Job purpose

The Data Analyst will turn raw data into information & insight; Reporting said information to key stakeholders, which can be leveraged to make both Clinical & Business decisions to drive improved patient outcomes & more efficient business decisions/processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Use tools to extract data & provide said data to key stakeholders or vendors.
• Provide analysis for data integrity & normalization.
• Troubleshoot reporting database(s) & reports.
• Setup processes and systems to make working with data more streamlined.
• Analyze collected data and put it into human-readable format.
• Collaborate with other employees to provide feedback and insight into data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM related field.
• Or High School Diploma with four-six years of relatable experience.
• Preferred candidates will have completed an internship with River Hospital IT department. 

It is the employee’s responsibility to know the requirements for certification, limited permit, and licensure for their individual profession. The employee will comply with all the requirements outlined by the New York State for the profession.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing, sitting up to 75-80% of the day.
• Ability to life portable equipment up to 50 pounds.
