Job Purpose
Welcome to the position of Referral Coordinator! Our Clinic Referral Coordinator plays an important role in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality of care. You will be responsible for coordinating patient referrals to specialty clinics, collaborating with external providers, and providing ongoing support to our patients. You will also use your excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure referrals are handled in a timely and efficient manner. In this role you will also assist the Outpatient Patient Access team with other clerical duties as assigned. If you are a motivated and organized individual with registration or scheduling experience, then this is the perfect role for you!

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent with 2 years experience in Physician’s office
• Associates Degree in related field preferred 
• Strong Clerical and Computer Skills
• Knowledge of billing practices
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills required
• Ability to work with diverse groups including physicians, nurses, therapists, patients, and families.
