Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist to join our dynamic healthcare team to work two days weekly. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications and collaborating closely with medical professionals. Job Requirements
The staff pharmacist does not have direct reports, but does oversee the Certified Pharmacy Technicians in the absence of the Director of Pharmacy.
It is the employee’s responsibility to know the requirements for certification, limited permit and licensure for their individual profession. It is also the responsibility of the employee to notify the employer of the status of any certification or licensure issue or potential issue. The employee will comply with all of the requirements outlined by the New York State Office of professions for the particular profession.

Job Requirements
- BS or Doctorate in Pharmacy
- Current NYS Pharmacist license in good standing
- Previous Health System pharmacy experience is preferred
- Majority of work will take place within the pharmacy with intermittent trips to the nursing stations, medication rooms, clinics, Medical Office Building (MOB), and other various units.
- The Staff Pharmacist shifts will take place during weekday/daytime hours when most staff is present.
